Sardool Sikander was an Indian singer associated with Punjabi Language folk and pop music. He also acted in some Punjabi language films like ‘Jagga Daku’ His album ‘Husna De malko’ released in 1991 sold 5.1 million copies worldwide and is still selling. 

Early Life And Family

Sardool was born on 15 January 1961 in Kheri naudh singh Punjab India. He belonged to the Patiala Gharana of music. His father late Sagar Mastana was a famous table player who invented a special type of tabla that was played with a thin bamboo stick. Sardool married with Amar Noori who is also an accomplished singer and actress and has received many awards just like her husband. Sardool Sikander has two sons named Sarang Sikander and Alaap Sikander. 

Career

Sardool made his first appearances on radio and television in the early 1980 with his introductory album ‘Roadways Di Lari’. He had 27 albums to his credit, his works has been included in over 50 derivative albums from all over the world. His some duet albums are ‘last time vs last night in’ (2016) ‘moon in the sky’ (2014) ‘entrance’ ( 2012) ‘hits of Sardool’ (2001) ‘on a dance step’ 2000

 and some singles are ‘red alert'(2012) ‘shareek’ (2014) ‘Mera valeti(2014) ‘paranda’ (2015) ‘Kangana’ (2016) ‘maula’ (2021). 

Death

Legendary Punjabi singer Sardool Sikander breathed his last age of 60 on February 2021.
