Alia Bhatt and Sharvari‘s action-packed spy thriller Alpha has made a decent start at the box office, earning ₹15.8 crore worldwide on its opening day.
According to early trade estimates, the film collected ₹9 crore net in India, taking its India gross to around ₹10.8 crore. The overseas market contributed another ₹5 crore, helping the film reach a worldwide gross of ₹15.8 crore on Day 1.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha is the seventh installment in the YRF Spy Universe and features Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in lead roles as powerful agents. The film has generated strong buzz for its action sequences and female-led storyline.
With positive audience interest and the weekend ahead, trade experts expect Alpha to witness further growth at the box office over the next two days.
