Akshay Kumar’s horror comedy ‘Bhooth Bangla’ is causing a stir on the OTT platform after its huge success in the theatrical release of the film. Having collected over ₹250 crore at the box office, the film is now number 1 on Netflix after it was released digitally following its success in theaters.
The film was released in theaters on April 17 and came out on the OTT platform Netflix on June 12.
In the story, Arjun, played by Akshay Kumar, is seen going to a ghostly mansion along with his sister to make preparations for their wedding. But he soon gets warned by the villagers about a devil named “Vadhusar” who tends to kidnap girls visiting the mansion for their marriage functions. And, what ensues is a combination of scary, funny, and unpredictable situations.
Hence, it can be said that Bhooth Bangla has been entertaining viewers in its second innings on OTT platforms as well.
