While praising his son-in-law Ranveer Singh for his brilliant acting in the movie Dhurandhar, former badminton ace Prakash Padukone admitted that he found the movie to have had some unnecessarily violent scenes in it.
Speaking on the subject, the veteran stated that Dhurandhar was an excellent movie with very good performances throughout the entire cast. While some scenes in the movie had been rather violent according to him, the audience enjoyed most of the movie.
Commenting further on his relations with his son-in-law, Padukone explained that not only do they share a lot of common interests but that even the two families stay together and even go on vacation once a year. The common interest in sports between the two helps them bond a lot more since they discuss cricket and football along with films.
The two movies directed by Aditya Dhar named Dhurandhar and its sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge have emerged as two of the biggest box office blockbusters in the recent times. Together, the two movies have crossed the milestone of ₹3,000 crores worldwide.
