Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna’s long-anticipated romantic movie Cocktail 2 has finally made its way to the big screens. However, the new film hasn’t received many good reviews and hasn’t managed to satisfy the audience’s expectations. Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 is an attempt to offer a fresh look at relationships but the film fails due to the unrealistic story.
In the movie, one meets a complex love story between Kunal (Shahid Kapoor), Diya (Rashmika Mandanna) and Ally (Kriti Sanon). At first, it seems to be just an ordinary loyalty test but soon the plot becomes emotionally confusing.
Although the story doesn’t create any impression on viewers, the main actors deserve to be noted for their decent acting. Shahid Kapoor plays his part consistently, Kriti Sanon charms viewers with her charisma and screen presence, and Rashmika Mandanna copes well with her emotional scenes.
Apart from that, the beautiful Sicilian landscape and brilliant cinematography are a real visual pleasure. Nevertheless, poor script and an unbelievable story prevent Cocktail 2 from being as charming as the first one.
