Finally, actress Akanksha Chamola has opened up about the trolls and cheating accusations she received after her dance video with co-actors Kunwar Amar and Ali Hasan went viral on social media. The video was a part of the promo for her upcoming project Dil Dhokha Aur Desire, after which she started receiving a lot of hate for her character online by some people.
Akanksha, whose past was also associated with rumours of marital problems with actor Gaurav Khanna, had already denied the same. But the recent controversy kickstarted when an Instagram Influencer re-shared her dance video and made a comment populously referring to people as being overly influenced by her. Retweeting the post, Akanksha responded confidently by writing: “This is feminine energy at its peak.”
While recently appearing at a press conference for her upcoming web show, Akanksha has also spoken about shooting intimate scenes and what people assume about actors. She explained that strict censorship is followed while shooting, and intimacy workshops are also conducted to ensure that actors are comfortable. The actor also praised her director, stating that everyone has been extremely respectful and ensured that boundaries are not crossed.
