Yami Gautam Dhar (born on November 28, 1988) is an Indian actress whose age is 33 years old & is most recognized for her work in Hindi films, but she has also appeared in Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil films. She gained to popularity after appearing in a few advertisements for Glow & Lovely and began her acting career in television shows, then South Indian films, and finally Bollywood. Gautam rose to fame after starring in TV shows such as Chand Ke Paar Chalo (2008–2009) and Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam (2009–2010), after which she appeared in a number of Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu films. Her highly acclaimed Hindi cinema debut role in the musically and commercially successful humorous rom-com Vicky Donor (2012) cemented her reputation. With the exception of the thriller Badlapur (2015), Gautam’s highest-grossing films, which include the revenge drama Kaabil (2017), the action war film Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), and the satire comedy Bala, she has maintained and gained significant critical and economic success (2019).

The actress was enraged when a “particular platform” referred to her as a “dead girlfriend in Hindi cinema.” Yami slammed the claimed evaluation of her performance in the Abhishek Bachchan film on Twitter, calling it “very insulting.” Yami Gautam wrote on Twitter, “Before I go any further, I’d want to state that I normally accept constructive criticism with open arms. But, when a platform continually tries to bring you down, I felt compelled to speak up about it.” According to the report, the actress’ performance was rated on a scale of one to ten “Although Yami Gautam is no longer the dead girlfriend in Hindi cinema, her aggressive smirk has become tiresome. The only thing worth waiting for.”
