Huma Qureshi Was born on 28 July 1986 is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi-language cinema. She has received several accolades, including a Film Fare OTT Award, and has been nominated for three Film Fare Awards.
Born and raised in Delhi, Huma Qureshi studied history while actively participating in theatre and working as a model. She later moved to Mumbai, where she signed a two-year contract with Hindustan Unilever to feature in television commercials. During the filming of a Samsung mobile advertisement, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap noticed her talent and offered her a three-film contract with his production company. She made her film debut in 2012 with a supporting role in the critically acclaimed two-part crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur, earning a Film Fare Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
