Mardhani 3

Currently, Sunny Deol’s Border 2 and Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3 are fighting for the top spot at the box office, but it is evident that the war film has gained a humongous lead. Border 2 is in its second week, while Mardaani 3 is in its first week.

Mardaani 3 had a decent start with collections of ₹4 crore on Friday, followed by ₹6.25 crore on Saturday, and ₹7.25 crore on Sunday. The film has accumulated ₹17.5 crore in the first three days, which is a clear indication of robust weekend business. However, the collections plummeted on Monday, and the estimated earnings are between ₹1 crore and ₹1.24 crore. The total India net collection of the film is approximately ₹18.5-19.5 crore, and the global collection is nearing ₹28 crore. Although the film has shown robust initial business, the mid-budget thriller is struggling to maintain a strong position in the face of stiff competition.

On the other hand, Border 2, starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh, continues its blockbuster run. The film crossed ₹301 crore in India within its first 10 days. It showed strong momentum in its second weekend, collecting ₹17.75 crore on Day 9 and ₹22.5 crore on Day 10. On Day 11, the film saw a normal weekday dip but still added an estimated ₹3–9 crore. With this, Border 2 has reached close to ₹398 crore in India and has crossed ₹400 crore worldwide.

Clearly, Border 2 remains the stronger force at the box office, while Mardaani 3 is struggling to keep pace.
