A piece of sad news has come out from the entertainment industry. Actually, TV and film industry actor Arun Bali passed away on 7 October 2022 at the age of 79. It is being said that he was ill for a long time and today he breathed his last in Mumbai.

Arun Bali was battling a disease called Myasthenia Gravis, which is an autoimmune disease, for a long time. This disease is caused due to communication failure between nerves and muscles. In early 2022, he was diagnosed with a rare neuromuscular disease. He was admitted to the hospital a few months back after that. TV actress Nupur Alankar also informed us about Arun Bali’s illness earlier this year. When Nupur was a member of ‘CINTAA’ then she told ETimes, “I was on the call with Arun Bali sir when I felt something wrong with his speech. After that, I contacted his son Ankush. Tried it but couldn’t. Then I called Rajeev Menon, who is Ankush’s associate, and got his second number. After that, I advised him to take Arun sir to the hospital immediately.”

After this, Arun Bali’s daughter Itishree told Nupur that she had got ‘myasthenia gravis’. Nupur had said, “Today I got a call from Arun ji’s number… he was not able to speak clearly at all. I’m really worried. I pray for his speedy recovery.

Veteran actor Arun Bali, who started his acting career in the 90s, has worked in many big films. He appeared in ‘Khalnayak’, ‘Flowers Aur Embers’, ‘Satya’, ‘Om Jai Jagdish’, ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’, ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Barfi’, ‘Airlift’, ‘Baaghi 2’ and more. He has been a part of many big films like ‘Panipat’. Along with films, he was also very active in TV shows. He has also worked in shows like ‘Phir Wahi Talaash’, ‘Dil Dariya’, ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’, ‘Mahabharat Katha’, ‘Shaktimaan’, ‘Kumkum’, ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ and ‘Swabhiman’. He got his real identity from the popular show ‘Kumkum’, in which he played the role of ‘Kumkum’ i.e. Juhi Parmar’s grandfather.

Arun Bali’s last film is ‘Goodbye’, which was released today i.e. on 7 October 2022. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta, Sunil Grover, Pavail Gulati, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elli Avram, Sahil Mehta, Shivin Narang and Abhishek Khan.
