Her father is Joginder Singh who is a businessman in Haryana and mother is Usha Rathi who is a housewife. His brother is Ankur Rathi who is a well settled actor in the Indian industry.
Sonia did her schooling at Vidya Devi Jindal School Haryana after that she completed her graduation from Princeton University, New Jersey.
