Shreyas Talpade is an Indian actor, known for acting in Marathi and Hindi films.
He has acted in several serious and commercially successful films including Om Shanti Om (2007) and the comedy films Golmaal Returns (2008), Golmaal 3 (2010), Housefull 2 (2012), and Golmaal Again.
In 2006, he acted in the comedy ‘Apna Sapna Mani Mani’ and in 2007 he acted in Farah Khan’s blockbuster film opposite Shah Rukh Khan, where he played the role of Pappu Master.
In 2008, he appeared in Kukunoor’s cross-cultural comedy film, Bombay to Bangkok. He also produced the Marathi film Sanai Chowghade which was released in the same year.

Shreyas Talpade Biography

Talpade was born on January 27, 1976, in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
He studied at Shri Ram Welfare Society High School in Andheri-West. And then he studied at Mithibai College in Vileparle.
He is married to Deepti Talpade, a psychiatrist. Shreyas met his wife Deepti when he went to her college as a celebrity (he was doing the serial ‘Abhalam Maya’ at the time). She was the general secretary.

Talpade started his acting career in Marathi soap operas and stage shows across Maharashtra.
He appeared in the lead role in the Zee TV soap opera Vo (1997). Also worked in a mini-serial for the production of the film ‘Adhikari Brothers’. His role in the very popular Marathi serial Damini, the character Tejas was very popular among the Marathi audience.
In 2006, he acted in the comedy ‘Apna Sapna Mani Mani’ and in 2007 he acted in Farah Khan’s blockbuster film opposite Shah Rukh Khan, where he played the role of Pappu Master.
In 2008, he appeared in Kukunoor’s cross-cultural comedy film, Bombay to Bangkok. He also produced the Marathi film Sanai Chowghade which was released in the same year.
Shreyas has produced a Marathi film called Poster Boyz. Released on 1 August 2014, the film was launched by Bollywood legend Subhash Ghai.
The film is directed by Sameer Patil and the music is composed by Lesley Lewis.
Posthar Boyz is a Marathi film remade in Hindi. Shreyas made his directorial debut with Poster Boys, which was released on 8 September 2017.
The film stars Shreyas himself along with Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol in lead roles.
