Sanjay Jog was born on 24-Sep-1955 in Nagpur the state of Maharashtra, India. He was an Indian Television Actor & Film Actor who was recognized for his participation in the Hindi television series and Bollywood movies. His role in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan as Bharat is always remembered.

Biography

Sanjay Jog was born and raised in Nagpur. He comes from Nagpur to Mumbai for studies and while in college he got connected with theatre. He started his career with Marathi plays and then started appearing in Marathi films.

After getting noticed from there, he was roped in to play the role of Bharat in Ramanand Sagar’s epic series Ramayan in 1987. He became a household name after that and also started getting roles in Hindi films as well.

Some of the noted Hindi films in which he has acted are Jigarwala, Humshakal, and Beta Ho Toh Aisa. He mostly played supporting roles in the films but will always be remembered for his role of Bharat in the much famous series Ramayan.

In addition to Hindi, and Marathi, he has also acted in some Gujarati films as well. He had a poultry farm in Pune and used to spend his leisure time there.

Death Information

Sanjay Jog was suffering from fighting liver disease & died on 27-11-1995 in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. He died due to liver failure at the age of 40.

He was born to a Hindu family in Nagpur. He was married to Neeta Jog, a lawyer. The couple has two children, a son named Ranjeet Jog and a daughter named Natasha Jog.
