Nushrat Bharucha was born on May 17, 1985, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is of Gujarati descent. Her father, Makrand Bharucha, is a businessman, and her mother, Zarin Bharucha, is a homemaker. She has an elder sister, Nazia Bharucha.
Education
Nushrat Bharucha studied at St. Anne’s High School in Bandra, Mumbai. She then went on to study Mass Communication at the University of Mumbai.
Career
Nushrat Bharucha began her career as a model. She appeared in several commercials and music videos. In 2010, she made her acting debut with the film Love Sex Aur Dhokha. However, she rose to fame with the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama in 2011. The film was a commercial success and Bharucha was praised for her performance.
