Neeraj Chopra Sets Record: Neeraj Chopra, who won the Olympic gold medal for India in Tokyo, has set a new national record. He has set a national record of 89.94 meters during the Diamond League.

Neeraj Chopra, who won the gold medal by showing his capacities and hard work in the Tokyo Olympics, is making new records one by one/again and again. Once he winning a silver medal or set a national record in the recently held Pavo Nurmi Athletics Meet, he back again and set a national record of 89.94 meters. Also in the Diamond League he won a silver medal.
24-years-old Neeraj Chopra broke his own national record of 89.30m together with his brilliant throw of 89.94m in Diamond League. He recently made it within the Pavo Nurmi Games in Turku in the beginning of June. The special thing is that during this time Neeraj Chopra had won the silver medal.
In fact, at prestigious Diamond League Meet in Stockholm on Thursday, Neeraj Chopra broke his own national record of 89.30m by throwing 89.94m in first attempt. For the time being, this additionaly became his record in the Diamond League meet, however did not last long. Grenada’s world champion Anderson Peters set a new record with the throw of 90.31m in his third attempt in the same meet.
After this Neeraj Chopra didnot do higher than him after his first attempt and had to be content with the silver medal. Through the Diamond League meet, Neeraj Chopra covered the distances 84.37m, 87.46m, 84.77m, 86.67 and 86.84m in his five throw of Javelin Through attempts, where Anderson Peters became the champion with 90.31m and Julian in his fifth attempt. Weber won bronze medal by cover a distance of 89.08 metres.
