Nagendra Babu is a Telugu film producer and actor belonging to the well-known film family of Chiranjeevi. He has own a production company, Anjana Productions and his film members and close relatives perform in most of its productions.
Nagendra Babu plays negative and character roles many times. Konidela Nagendra Babu was born on 29 October 1961 in Mogalthur, Andhra Pradesh. He completed his schooling from Sri Y N College, Narsapur, Andhra Pradesh and his intermediate from CSR Sharma College, Ongole, Andhra Pradesh.He completed his degree in Bachelor of Commerce from Sri Y N College, Narsapur, Andhra Pradesh.
His father is Venkat Rao Konidala and mother Anjana Devi Konidala. Both his brothers – Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan are strongsupports of Telugu film industry. He is married to Padmaja Konidala and the couple have two children Varun Tej Konidela and Niharika Konidela. Both his children have walked into the film industry.
He initiated his film career as an actor through the movie – Kowravudu, and earned success as well. Since then he achievedcharacters from Telugu cinema. The comedy Premabhishekam in the year 2008 was one of his renowned appearances. He also featured in Venkatesh starrer – Shadow. His production career commenced in the year 1988 with the film – “Rudra Veena” starring Chiranjeevi and Shobana. The film directed by K. Balachander won three National Film Awards together with the Best Feature Film on National Integration and was also premiered at the 12th International Film Festival of India. Since then he has produced 8 films. “Trinetrudu” in 1988 was his first great hit as a film producer. “Mugguru Monagallu”, “Bavagaru bagunnara”, “Gudumba Shankar” and “Radha Gopalam” are some of his prominent production ventures. He co-produced “Stalin” and 2010 movie ‘Orange’ was his last production venture.
