She made her acting debut in Television Industry in 2006 with a show named “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” .Mouni became the one of the highest paid tv actresses after doing a show named “Naagin 2” featured on “Colors tv” .

Early Life and Family

Mouni Roy was born on 28 september, 1985 in Cooch Behar, West Bengal. Mouni’s grandfather Shekhar Chandra Roy was a popular Jatra Theater Artist and her mother “Mukti Roy” was also a Theater Artist. Her father Anil Roy was an office superintendent of the Cooch Behar Zilla Parishad.Mouni has a younger brother Mukhar Roy. Mouni completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Baburhat, Cooch Behar after that he did English Honors from Miranda House, University of Delhi, New Delhi. She went to the Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi for a course in Mass Communication but dropped it midway.

Relationships

Mouni Roy is now married to Suraj Nambiar the couple got married on 27 January, 2022 at Hilton Goa Resort in a South Indian style, but before marrying him she dated few other actors one is Gaurav Chopra and the other one is Mohit Raina who is her co-star in a famous mythological show Devon Ke Dev Mahadev they both dated for a very long-time.
