Junko Tabei was a Japanese mountaineer. She was the first woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest, located in Nepal and the first woman to ascend all the Seven Summits by climbing the highest peak on every continent.

Junko Tabei became the only woman to reach the mountains in 76 different countries. He first climbed near Mount Nasu. She was just 10 years old at that time.
