On every year, on 2nd October, the birthday of the most loved man – Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi or commonly known as Mahatma Gandhi, is celebrated. His birthday is not just celebrated in India, but in many parts of the world, and the occasion is popularly known as Gandhi Jayanti.
Mahatma Gandhi was born in the year 1869 in Porbandar. He will consider as a peaceful man, and his essence of non-violence went on to unite the country and gave India a new shape. He was a selfless man who did tremendously for the county throughout.
