Sushma Swaraj was an Indian politician and a former Supreme Court lawyer. A senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, Swaraj was serving as the Minister of External Affairs of India from 26 May 2014 to 30 May 2019; she was the second woman to hold the office, after Indira Gandhi.
Senior BJP leader and Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, 67, passed away at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Tuesday night after suffering a cardiac arrest in the evening.
The senior BJP leader was brought to AIIMS at 10:15 PM and was straight away taken to the emergency ward.
