The Jharkhand High court on the 9th October granted bail to Lalu Prasad Yadav, the former CM of Bihar, related to Chaibasa treasury in connection to a fodder scam of Rs 950 crore. The issue was related to the withdrawal of Rs 33.67 crore from the treasury of Chaibasa in the year 1992-93 when the RJD leader was then the CM of Bihar.
Even after a bail, Lalu Prasad Yadav will not be free as he has been sentenced to a total jail for 14years in connection with the case of Dumka treasury embezzlement.
