New revelations are being made every day in the death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. At the request of the Bihar government, the government has referred the matter to the CBI. However, the Supreme Court will give its verdict on Wednesday, August 19. The court’s decision will determine whether the CBI will investigate the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, but the CBI has already asked Sushant’s father, K.S. K. An FIR has been registered by the Rajputs in Patna.
The Maharashtra government has opposed the CBI probe, saying the Mumbai police was capable of investigating Sushant’s death. As you know, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Mumbai on June 14, 2020. Initial reports said it was a suicide. However, Sushant’s family lodged a complaint with the Bihar police that actress Riya Chakraborty had hatched a conspiracy against Sushant and incited him to commit suicide.
The ED’s investigation has raised a number of issues
On the other hand, after it came to light that there was money laundering in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, the ED has also started an inquiry into the matter. The ED’s investigation is in full swing and new revelations are coming out every day. Sushant’s father Krishna Kumar Singh was also interrogated for four hours in Delhi in a money laundering case. According to sources, Sushant’s father told the investigating agency that Riya Chakraborty and Shruti Modi were looking at his son’s bank account. He took the money out of it. Shruti Modi is Sushant’s former business manager. After Sushant’s death, Riya Chakraborty was only in touch with Shruti Modi.
According to sources, the investigating agency also questioned Sushant’s father about how Rs 15 crore had been withdrawn from Sushant’s account. Investigators wanted to know how Riya Chakraborty got the money. In the coming days, the ED may send notices to some more people in this regard. Ritesh was supposed to appear before the ED on Monday, but he did not show up.
