Ban On Flash Sale/New Delhi: The Government of India on Monday launched the country’s e-mail address to curb widespread fraud and unfair trade practices. Many changes have been proposed in the commerce rules. According to the statement issued by the central government, the changes that have been proposed include a ban on certain types of flash sales and action on non-compliance of rules on the part of e-commerce platforms.

The statement said that the purpose of the proposed amendment in the rules is to bring transparency and strengthen the regulatory system. It has also been said, ‘Considerations, comments and suggestions have been sought for amendment in Consumer Protection (E-commerce), 2020.’ Let us tell you, with the aim of preventing unfair trade practices in e-commerce, the rules were notified from July last year 23.however, has since informed the government of fraud and unfair trade practices on the part of aggrieved consumers, traders and associations in e-commerce.
