Atlee Kumar Career
Atlee started his career at the age of 19 working as S. Shankar’s assistant director on the Hindi film 3 Idiots remake Nanban and the film Enthiran. His short film, Mugaputhagam, was well-received by the general people and media outlets. After that, in 2013, A. R. Murugadoss produced the romantic comedy Raja Rani, which marked Atlee’s directorial debut. Starring were Sathyaraj, Jai, Nayanthara, Arya, and Nazriya Nazim. It took home more than ₹50 crores at the box office and brought him the Vijay Award for Best Debut Director.
