Biography
Shahbaz Ahmed (born 12 December 1994) is an Indian cricketer. He made his List A debut for Bengal in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 20 September 2018. He made his first-class debut for Bengal in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy on 14 December 2018. He made his Twenty20 debut for Bengal in the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 24 February 2019.
Career
In October 2019, he was named in India A’s squad for the 2019–20 Deodhar TrophyIn the 2020 IPL auction, he was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the 2020 Indian Premier League.

IPL 2020
RCB has given twenty lakh rupees for the upcoming IPL season to 24-year-old Shahbaz Ahmed, a resident of Shikarawa village, who was selected in Bengal Ranji team a year ago from Mewat region. Shahbaz was selected for India-A in October.

Shahbaz’s father is working as a clerk in Noon district and he lives with his family in the colony at Dheeranki Road in Hathin city. Shahbaz is delighted with his teammates and the region when he is selected in the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. For the first time a cricketer from Mewat region has been selected for sports like IPL.
