Rakul Preet Singh:
Rakul Preet Singh was born on 10 October 1990. She is an Indian film actress and model who acts mostly in the Telugu film industry. She has also performed in several Tamil, Hindi and Kannada films.
Her Career:
Rakul Preet Singh initiated her career as a model at the university, during which she also made her acting debut in the movie Kannada Gilli (2009). In 2011, she took part in the Femina Miss India contest in which she was graded fifth and won five contest titles, comprising the Miss India times People’s Choice, Miss Talented Female, Femina Miss Beautiful Smile and Femina Miss Beautiful Eyes.
She then opted to become a full-time actress, making her telugu debut in Keratam the similar year and her Tamil debut at Thadaiyara Thaakka the following year. In 2014, she also made her Bollywood debut in Yaariyan, where her acting was better achieved.
She was part of commercially successful films such as Venkatadri Express (2013), Current Theega (2014), Loukyam (2014), Kick 2 (2015), Bruce Lee – The Fighter (2015), Nannaku Prematho (2016), Sarrainodu (2016). ), Dhruva (2016), Rarandoi Veduka Chudham (2017) and Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (2017) and has established herself as one of Telugu Cinema’s leading actresses.
At present, she is chosen as the brand ambassador for Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao programme by Telangana State Government

She was born into a Punjabi family in New Delhi, Rakul has done her schooling at the Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, and later studied mathematics at the Jesus and Mary College of Delhi University. She has been an active golf player and played at the national level.
